The vehicle has since been inspected by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), who found no fault.
A spokesman for Transdev Lancashire said: "The vehicle has been inspected by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency and it has been given a clean bill of health.
"An investigation is still ongoing into the cause of the accident but the bus didn't suffer from a mechanical problem."
Around 100 children were attending classes at the education centre when the bus and two cars were involved in a collision at around 6.20pm.
Amar Abbas, a trustee at the venue, said congestion, parking on pavements and a 30mph speed limit was causing serious problems on the road.
