AN ‘Opera Gala Concert’ is set to be held in Blackburn on Saturday, November 9, from 7.30pm.
Margaret Preece, an international soloist who sang the role of Mother Abbess in ‘The Sound of Music’ and Carlotta in ‘The Phantom of The Opera’ will perform at the event in King George’s Hall.
She will be leading the Blackburn Music Society and Central Youth Choir on the night.
