Mick Baldwin
THE funeral details for a Blackburn man who was killed in a car crash in America have been confirmed.
Family and friends will celebrate the life of Mick Baldwin, who died aged 41 in Connecticut, at a service at St Alban’s Church, Larkhill, Blackburn on Wednesday at 11am.
It will be followed by a party at the Blues Bar at Ewood Park.
Mick’s family need to raise £20,000 to bring his body back to Blackburn and will be holding a fundraiser at the Live Lounge, in Northgate, Blackburn on February 16.
The next day would have been Mick’s 42nd birthday.
The event will start at 8pm and tickets, which are available from the venue, cost £5.
Mick, a former John Rigby High School pupil, leaves brothers Steven and Lewis, sister Jillian, mum Susan, dad Dave and stepmum Eileen.
