Thirteen students, aged 16 and 17, from will be performing after submitting a recording of their performance to the judging panel.

The college is one of just 10 groups selected and they will be performing a piece choreographed by Sammy Allen called ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’, which takes its inspiration from the art of cooking.

She said: “The dancers will have the exciting opportunity to take part in a series of workshops led by outstanding national practitioners.

“To then perform ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ at The Lowry is an opportunity of a lifetime. I am incredibly proud of the 13 dancers.”
