A WOMAN who called police after being assaulted by her husband ended up being arrested.
Blackburn magistrates heard Khalida Haq was told to keep away from the family home in Rawstorne Street, Blackburn, while police carried out their inquiries and arrested her husband.
But she ignored their request and went to the address where she ended up in an altercation with her husband’s family.
Haq, 37, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £50 to keep the peace for six months.
Michael Blacklidge, defending, said his client accepted she should have left things to the police rather than interfering herself.
