THE LINE-UP for the 25th Burnley Rock & Blues festival has been revealed.

Organisers of the event, which attracts visitors from around the world are promising that it will be the biggest and best yet.

The three day festival, which takes place over the May bank holiday weekend, is run by Burnley Council, Doc Redeye Events and Burnley company AMS NEVE.

On Friday the Mechanics Main Stage will feature the return of British singer, pianist and guitarist Mike Sanchez, who has come to Burnley with his band since the ever festival in 1988.

Saturday features highly acclaimed American singer-songwriter Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, acoustic excellence with British Blues stars Paul Jones and Dave Kelly and from America the Gregg Wright Band, who have supported Michael Jackson.

To finish the weekend on Sunday will be English rockers The Zombies featuring Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone and Wishbone Ash.

And for the new wave of music lovers, guitarist Oli brown, winner of Best Young Artist in the 2012 British Blues Awards, and Burnley born blues singer and guitarist Lucy Zirins. Visit burnleyrockandblues.com or www.burnleymechanics.co.uk
