Blackburn stolen goods man given curfew
4:08pm Friday 23rd November 2012 in Blackburn
A 23-YEAR-OLD man bought a bag of electrical items, including a sat-nav, from a man in the street.
Blackburn magistrates heard Christopher Gary Griffiths gave his name and address when he tried to sell the navigation equipment at Cash Converters but left without any money when the assistant became suspicious.
Griffiths, of Bolton Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to handling stolen property.
He was made subject to an electronically monitored curfew between 7 pm and 5am for 10 weeks and ordered to pay £60 costs.
