RESURFACING on a stretch of Longridge Road, in Clitheroe, will start on Monday.
The work follows the completion of a water pipe replacement scheme which took place a few months ago to connect homes to the regional network.
Pipe owners United Utilities said the renewal would improve the quality, and reliability, of service to customers Construction of new kerbs along 60 metres of road, from outside Shireburn Barn Farm, Hurst Green, will take around three days to complete.
A spokesman for United Utilities in Lancashire, said: “The work being carried out is essential to keep the road and kerbside safe for drivers following the new pipework being installed.
“There should be minimal disruption to motorists, but two-way traffic lights will be used while engineers construct the kerbs.”
