A 31-YEAR-OLD man said to have exposed himself to 'upset the police' in drunken trouble, is awaiting sentence.
Burnley Magistrates heard how William Alderson was said by the prosecution to have committed a 'one-off' offence when his behaviour was 'extremely unpleasant' to the officer.
The defendant, of Allendale Street, Colne, admitted exposure, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and police obstruction, on July 25, Silvia Dacre, prosecuting, told the court the exposure was not one of a series of offences and the defendant did it to upset the police rather than for sexual gratification.
The defendant was bailed until August 14, for a pre- sentence report and must obey a curfew between 10pm and 7am.
