PRINTED cups made by a Clitheroe business have been delivered to Downing Street for a Jubilee party.
As well as representing the Ribble Valley at the Party, Nigel Evans, MP for the Ribble Valley, also took the cups to the business minister, Mark Prisk, as an example of great British manufacturing.
Mr Evans said: “It was very generous of the Printed Cup Company to donate these very special cups for No.10 Downing Street to use during their Jubilee street party.
“I also felt that it was important to involve the business minister because the Printed Cup Company is a great advert for British business and manufacturing.
“The minister was impressed to hear that the company has moved its manufacturing from China to Clitheroe and shared my hope that they will go from strength to strength.
After meeting with Mr Prisk, Mr Evans took the cups to Downing Street, where they will be used as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations there.
