AN MP is worried about the impact eurozone problems might have on people in his East Lancashire consituency.
Haslingden MP Graham Jones said the country needed a growth plan that encompassed Europe as a whole in order to revitalise the economy locally.
He said hardworking businesses in his consitituency were ready for growth, but that they needed the right climate to do so.
He said: “Part of Europe’s problem is that we haven’t got a proper growth plan for Europe as a whole, which is absolutely necessary alongside a deficit reduction plan. In Europe, like Britain, it’s not either growth or getting the deficit down.
"The truth is that we need the right combination of both – action now.”
