A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash which closed a Blackburn road for up to three hours.
The rider of a Honda motorbike was in collision with a Land Rover on Montague Street at around 8pm last night.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said he suffered a broken arm, broken leg and a head injury as a result of the incident.
The road was closed to traffic until some time after 10pm so emergency services could clear the scene, The rider, who has not been named, was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment.
