A PENSIONER collapsed and died outside a shop in Haslingden this morning.
An ambulance was called to the Co-operative shop in John Street at 9.10am.
The man, believed to be aged 65, suffered a cardiac arrest and was given CPR and defibrillator shock treatment at the scene before being taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital, ambulance officials said.
Police were called at 9.43am and confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.
