A BLACKBURN nursery is backing the introduction of 20mph zones by holding a road safety day for children.
Longshaw Nursery School and Children's Centre will be running a Beep Beep! day to raise funds for Brake on Wednesday, May 2.
Around 120 children will learn basic road safety lessons through fun activities and will wear red, yellow and green 'traffic light' clothing.
It is part of a national initiative by Brake and Churchill Car Insurance that involves hundreds of schools, nurseries and playgroups each year.
