A PEDESTRIAN was knocked down in Haslingden.
The man was crossing Manchester Road outside Haslingden Health Centre when he was hit by a Ford Fiesta about 11.40am yesterday.
The North West Air Ambulance was called but the man, thought to be suffering from a broken leg, was taken by land ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Police cordoned off the road between Greenfield Street and Park Street until 2.15pm.
