EYEWITNESSES are being sought after an 80-year-old woman was attacked in her own home in Pendle.
Police say the elderly victim is recovering in hospital after the attack, which left here with severe bruising to the neck, at her home last week.
An appeal has been issued after £230 was taken, during the incident as well as a medical alarm pendant she wore around her neck.
Police are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious, in the early hours of March 27, in the area of North Street, Colne, to come forward.
Witnesses can either call the new police non-emergency number on 101 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
*A 24-year-old Colne man has been charged with burglary and causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the incident.
