A SKUNK cannabis dealer has been jailed for eight months.
The town's Burnley Crown Court heard how Lee Pilling, 24, was arrested after police from the Targeted Crime Unit walked past his home on Scarlett Street, Burnley, saw four men, including the defendant, coming out and smelled a strong odour of cannabis.
The hearing was told when officers searched the property, they found 187 grams of the drug, worth £1,870 on the streets, cash and scales.
The defendant was selling £10 street deals after buying cannabis in bulk and splitting up one ounce packages into smaller amounts.
Officers also recovered drug dealing text messages from the defendant's mobile phones.
Pilling admitted possessing cannabis with intent to supply, last July.
Sarah Statham, prosecuting, said police found a large quantity of skunk in abedroom.
The defendant's mobile phone was seized and it was found in the days leading up to his arrest he had received text messages from 10 people asking for cannabis. neighbourhood."
