MOTORISTS are advised that several roads around Clitheroe will close later this month for the 2011 Ribble Valley 10k Road Race.
From 9.45am until noon on December 27, Edisford Road, Clitheroe, will close from its junction with Lancaster Drive to the B6243 Whalley Road, Great Mitton.
The C573 Clitheroe Road will close from its junction with Edisford Road to the C574 Clitheroe Lane in Bashall Eaves and at its junctions with Bashall Lane, Twitter Lane and Birdy Brow.
The C574 Clitheroe Lane will close from Bashall Eaves to its junction with the B6243 New Lane in Great Mitton.
The roads will be closed to traffic and there will be no signed alternative routes.
Access will be available for residents subject to a short delay to ensure the safety of passing runners.
