Accrington lap-dancing club given go-ahead

ACCRINGTON’S first lap-dancing club is to open after plans were given the green light.
The application to open the proposed Eye Candy lap dancing club on Blackburn Road was approved by planners who have granted applicants a sexual entertainment venue (SEV) licence.
Planning officers approved the bid under delegated powers and say that no objections from the general public had been received following the application’s submission.
Lancashire Constabulary are also said to have inspected the premises and raised no objections.
Hyndburn’s planning department say the applicant met all the requirements of their SEV policy and that the proposed club rules are acceptable.
The venue has not yet applied for a premises licence for the sale of alcohol.
