A TEENAGE boy had his mobile phone stolen in a street robbery on Thursday afternoon.
He was walking with four friends in Hyndburn Road, near to the Matalan store in Accrington, at 12.10pm.
He was approached by a man who threatened him, grabbed his Samsung Monte mobile phone and then ran off in the direction of Asda.
He is described as white 5’8” tall, in his 20s dressed in a black jacket with black three-quarter length pants and a shaved head.
DS Paul Langley said the victim was ‘unhurt, but shaken up by the ordeal’.
