DEVELOPERS are being sought for a £100,000 project to overhaul the play area at Victoria Park in Haslingden.
Council leisure bosses and the park’s friends group secured a £50,000 lottery Awards for All grant in June for the upgrade.
Work will see the existing play equipment replaced and a new skating bench and grind rail installed.
The multi-games area nearby will also be extended.
The playground alone will benefit from a new climbing unit and slide, rotating web climber, four swings and a roundabout.
Because the site is prone to waterlogging, firms are being asked to include details of a potential drainage scheme to remove surface water.
Tenders must be submitted to the borough council before September 28.
