A FRESH cohort of teenagers has ‘passed-out’ from a pioneering military course offered in Lancashire.
Candidates from across the North West are attracted to the course, supported by the Army office in Yorkshire Street in Burnley, Training 2000 and Avenir Training.
Young would-be troopers aged 15 to 18 take part in exercises on Southport beach, the Yorkshire Dales and various barracks.
Training is all geared towards a final week-long residential camp at Halton, near Lancaster.
Eighteen-year-old Seth Snape, from Accrington, was named the best overall student on the 14-week course.
The next course begins on September 12.
