A CAT which was watching tropical fish in an aquarium fell off and got trapped behind a cupboard.
The 12-year-old feline called Tiddler had been sitting on top of the fish tank in a house in Hawkswood Gardens, Brierfield, when it slipped off.
It got wedged down a tight gap between the back of the heavy unit and the wall, and the owner, a 57-year-old woman, was unable to get it out.
She spent two hours trying to coax it out with food before ringing the fire service around 10.30am on Saturday.
Firefighters had to cut a hole in the back of the wooden panel to pull the cat to safety.
