A FAMILY are raising funds to make their seriously ill baby’s homecoming special this Christmas.
Oswaldtwistle toddler Carson Hartley was born with tetralogy of fallot, known as blue baby syndrome or ToF, a hole in his heart and unformed arteries which starved the blood of oxygen.
The 17-month-old survived a heart attack at three-months-old and recently came through a touch-and-go 10 hour heart operation.
His parents have been told that if he continues to make good progress, he may be at home by Christmas.
The family are hoping to equip Carson’s bedroom with special needs sensory equipment, such as lights to make his surroundings more stimulating between now and December.
Anyone who can help with donations of equipment for Carson is asked to contact Kirsty on 0754 681 9167.
