A HASLINGDEN GP is retiring from her practice after almost 30 years.
Dr Patricia Rishton, 55, has worked at Haslingden Health Centre, in Manchester Road, for 28 years and has been a senior partner at the practice for the last 15 years.
The mum-of three, who lives in Loveclough, is now planning to spend her spare time with her family and dedicate time to her hobby of bird watching.
However she will not be giving up medicine completely.
From September she will work part-time at Pall Mall Medical in Deansgate in Manchester.
