FUNDRAISER Caitlin Jones is a step closer to being chosen as an Olympic torchbearer.

The 15-year-old has received notification that her nomination will be reviewed by a regional panel who are looking for 2,012 individuals with inspirational stories of personal achievement and contribution to the community.

Caitlin, who suffers from learning and physical difficulties, was nominated by councillors, members of public and Darwen MP Jake Berry, for her work raising over £10,000 for cancer charities since the death of her father three years ago.
