AN inquest into a man found hanged at his Nelson home recorded an open verdict.
East Lancs coroner Richard Taylor heard evidence from the devastated parents of Thomas Tattersall.
Mr Tattersall, 22, of Heldon Road, was found dead with wire around his neck on April 20.
The recreational drug user was said to struggle with depression.
Mr Tattersall, who had a baby son Reece, was trying to ‘get on with life’ after splitting with his partner and being made redundant twice.
His parents, who were concerned by his drug use, said they had been in contact with him days before he died and had no idea what was going on.
The coroner said he could not prove he intended to take his life so recorded an open verdict.
