Tockholes couple's charity feats
Under the auspices of Darwen Rotary Club, John and Judith Jacklin, from Tockholes, held an open garden, organised a concert at St Peter’s Church, Darwen, and a raffle, to raise money for CRUK and Rotary Club charities.
Each received £1,751.
John is a long-time Rotarian and has just recovered from cancer.
Darwen Rotary president Geoff Tolley presented a cheque to Linda Chatburn, chairman of Darwen CRUK.
