TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill in Burnley town centre this morning after three cars were involved in a collision.
Police and paramedics were called to Finsley Gate at around 8.30am after a Ford Mondeo, a Peugeot, and a third unknown car were involved in the accident.
There was only one person in each car and nobody was taken to hospital, but a woman was treated for shock at the scene.
The Ford Mondeo and the Peugeot had to be recovered from the scene and the road cleared of debris and diesel.
