A 12-YEAR-old boy was injured after being hit by a van this morning.
Police said the youngster was struck in Union Road, Oswaldtwistle, at 8.20am.
He suffered grazing to his hand and hip but was not seriously injured.
He was taken to hospital to be checked over.
No action was taken against the driver of Peugeot Bipper vehicle, who was uninjured.
