AN investigation has been lauched into the collapse of scaffolding at a house in Turncroft Road, Darwen.
It was put up by R Heaton Scaffolding, of Crossfield Street, Blackburn, who are investigating the collapse themselves.
They were unable to comment until the probe was completed.
No one was hurt in the incident on Monday afternoon but the road was closed while the scene was cleared.
