A RIBBLE Valley lorry driver has appeared in court accused of causing the deaths of three members of the same family in a road smash.
Neil Margerison, 23, of Ribchester Road, Clayton-le-Dale, is alleged to have caused the deaths of Flight Lieutenant Neville Rees, 43, his wife Karen, 41, and their son Andrew, 11, by driving dangerously.
They were killed after being crushed between two lorries in a smash on the A17 in Lincoln, on January 5 this year.
At court Margerison spoke only to confirm his details.
No plea was taken and he was granted bail to appear before Lincoln Crown Court on September 19.
