BLACKBURN-based training provider, Training 2000, is celebrating achieving six outstanding grades at its recent Ofsted inspection.

Since its last inspection in 2005, Training 2000 has improved from good to excellent in three areas and is rated in the highest two grades for every aspect.

Inspectors praised tutors as ‘inspirational and motivating’ and commented on the ‘excellent’ resources and accommodation.

The report said: “Since the last inspection, the company has improved success rates, consistently keeping ahead of national rates. For many learners, success rates are outstanding.”

Chief executive of Training 2000, Steve Gray, said: “We are very pleased to have increased the number of ‘excellent’ ratings achieved across each of our sectors and I am very proud of the high standards maintained by our staff and learners.

“We always strive for excellence and intend to take all the inspectors’ comments on board. "Ideally we want to achieve grade one standards all round in our next inspection.”
