POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three people left a Ribble Valley pub without paying a £100 bill.

On Sunday, two men and a woman visited the Calf's Head, Worston, near Clitheroe, and ordered food and drink.

Police said the group arrived at lunchtime and spent four hours at the pub before leaving the premises.

Sgt Gary Hennighan, of Clitheroe police, said: “The pub was extremely busy and we are hoping that other diners would have noticed these three people who were being quite loud and awkward.”

One man was described as 6ft tall, of stocky build with a bald shaven head.

He was wearing a bright red T-shirt and is possibly called Curran.

The second man had a slim build, pierced ears and a ‘grey complexion’.

He was wearing a grey T-shirt and had tattoos on his arms.

The woman was around 5ft 5ins tall with a broad build.

She had ‘old lady’-style white collar-length hair with a pink stripe.
