Blackburn Rovers legend Alan Shearer came face to face with his waxwork self in Blackpool today.
And the striker-turned-TV pundit was 'over the moon' with his likeness on display at the new Madame Tussauds attraction.
"I think they've done such a great job it's scary," he said.
"It's weird looking at yourself and thinking how incredibly alike it is."
The waxwork figure of the England legend took four months to make and will be on display in the "locker room" area at the attraction alongside the waxwork doubles of David Beckham and Wayne Rooney.
"The figure is so realistic and accurate, the sculpting team have done an amazing job and I hope the public like it too," Shearer said.
"They take a million different measurements of everything and then do the cast which takes a few hours but we did it all in a day in London.
"You'd be surprised by the detail that goes in to it and now seeing it this close up you can see how careful they've been.
"My kids want to come down because they've already been to the one in London.
"They want to come down here now, probably so they can take the mickey out of me a bit."
