THE largest workwear and uniform supplier in Europe has restructured its business to improve its performance.
Bosses at Kwintet, based in Altham Business Park, undertook a major shakeup to create a more efficient, comprehensive and responsive operation to customers.
In the UK, the business turns over more than £50m and has more than 250 personnel.
Across Europe the Kwintet Group has more than 4,000 employees supporting a turnover of more than 700 million Euro.
Richard Wright, vice president for Kwintet UK and International said the move was not a cost cutting exercise but about efficiencies for customers and suppliers.
He said: “We are Europe’s biggest supplier of workwear, PPE and corporate wear thanks to a series of acquisitions in recent years.
“Now is the time for us to use the strength of the group by integrating and uniting the various strands of the business to make us stronger.
"Rather than operate as a series of small business units, we can utilise the combined power of the group.”
