AN art student is appealing for her coursework to be returned after she left it on the bus by accident.

Annemarie Taylor, of Bluebell Way, Huncoat, has two weeks to find her A3 black portfolio or she will fail her Level Two BTEC Art and Design at Blackburn College.

Annemarie left her folder, which had six pieces of work about the Japanese culture in it, on the Spot On route one bus which she caught from Blackburn Boulevard at 3.30pm on Thursday.

The 20-year-old got off the bus at Accrington and forgot to take her folder with her.

She said: “I don’t usually take my coursework home but I did on Thursday and put it at the side of the seat when I sat down.

“I forgot I had it because I usually don’t take it home with me and only remembered when I got home.

“I will fail my course if I don’t find it in two weeks.

"There is not enough time to redo it all over again.”

“It is part of the final parts of my course and I will fail it if I don’t hand it in.”

Without the coursework Annemarie may not progress on to the Level Three BTEC Art and Design.

Anyone who finds the work can hand it in to the college or contact Annemarie at the college.
