A TRAINING group has 100 apprentice vacancies – despite thousands of unemployed young people in Lancashire.
The North Lancs Training Group, based in Accrington and covering the whole of the county, said it was struggling to fill the roles.
Earlier this year, managing director Jim Harkness said apprentice jobs were not being filled as schools preferred to promote degrees.
