A HUNT has been launched after a man was reported missing from his home.
Officers said concerns are growing for David Wilson, 41, who has not been seen since leaving for work on Tuesday morning.
Mr Wilson, of Pendle Road, Clitheroe, did not turn up for work. He has not made contact with family, friends or colleagues since.
Officers said that he has gone missing with his black labrador dog and he could be in Cumbria.
He is a keen camper and cyclist and anyone travelling in that area is asked to remain vigilant.
A police spokesman said: “Both police and Mr Wilson’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing for him to get in touch or for anyone who thinks they may have seen him to come forward and contact the police.
“It is thought he will be wearing casual clothes and may have with him a waterproof jacket and walking boots which he could be wearing.”
Mr Wilson is described as white, around 5’10” to 6’ tall, of slim build with receding grey hair. He has a tanned complexion and blue eyes and a North West accent.
He is believed to be driving a Silver Peugeot 307 registration number MW05EBF which has a cycle rack on the roof.
Anyone with information about Mr Wilson is asked to call police on 01254 51212.
