A BLACKBURN pony rider represented her country in the British Show Pony Society Summer Championships.
Westholme school pupil Sophie Scott, 15, of Wilton Close, Beardwood, has already amassed 16 winning titles this year.
And on Wednesday she joined the English team for the prestigious event along with her working hunter pony Stambrook Pavarotti.
In October she takes part in the Horse of the Year Show. It all follows success in the North of England Pony Show at Osbaldeston, where Sophie landed the reserve champion title.
Mum Alison said: "She has had ponies since the age of three and really knows her stuff."
