HYNDBURN Homes has moved 55 maintenance staff into a new base at Altham.
The company, which took over management of all council houses in Hyndburn following the recent housing stock transfer, says the move will provide residents with "improved responsive local services".
Skilled workers operating from the premises at Altham Business Park include joiners, electricians, plasterers, plumbers and gas engineers.
They are joined by grounds maintenance and customer service staff.
Repairs manager Dave Cross said: "Our aim is simple. We want to improve the service we offer by providing a high quality, cost-effective repairs and maintenance service.
"These new premises will allow us to do just that."
He said the building allowed good access to the motorway, providing fast access to the properties which they maintain.
The company has moved from Willows Lane.
