A BLACKBURN primary school held a special ceremony to mark the end of a new £250,000 revamp.
St Francis Primary School, Cherry Tree Lane, Blackburn, worked hard to secure the funds to enable new areas of the school to be rebuilt.
Headteacher Sharon Thomas said the school now has a new play area, new toilets, medical room, flooring and the builders donated a new canopy.
Work started before Christmas and finished earlier this month. A dedication ceremony was led by Rev Roland Nicholson.
