A DARWEN woman has won a £13,000 car thanks to her local Netto supermarket.
Arlene Llewellyn, of Leeward Close, entered a prize draw to win a VW Polo during a shopping trip to Netto in School Street.
The IT worker said: “I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news. I’ve never won anything in my life.”
The draw was to mark the supermarket’s 19th birthday. More than half a million people entered the and hundreds of prizes have been handed out.
Other winners across the country have won dream holidays, motor scooters, iPads, holiday vouchers and family days out.
Arlene’s prize was presented to her by Netto trading director Bent Holm.
Bent said: “It’s wonderful to see such a happy winner. “
