MASKED men have robbed a father and son in their own home.
The 54-year-old man received cuts and bruises as the men entered his house and made threats in Oban Drive, Blackburn, at 10.10pm on Wednesday. His 18-year-old son was not injured.
The thieves stole an unknown quantity of jewellery before making off. Crime scene investigators have now examined the scene.
Detective Sergeant Rob Anderson, of Blackburn CID, said: “I would appeal for anyone who has any information about this to come forward and contact police.
“I am particularly keen to hear from people who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the area or who perhaps saw a vehicle with two men in driving in the area.
“Luckily the victims were not seriously hurt but have been left extremely shaken following their ordeal.”
Anybody with any information is asked to contact police on 01254 51212 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
