A SEX offender described as ‘high risk’ breached a Sexual Offences Prevention Order by having children in his house.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Robbie Lee Cavanagh didn’t think he was in breach of the order because the children were there with their parents and he was supervised.
But the court was told he had been given a warning by police after children were given free access to his home.
Cavanagh, 23, of Sarah Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to breach of the SOPO.
He was committed in custody to Preston Crown Court for sentence.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said Cavanagh had been convicted of a sex offence involving a 14-year-old girl in January 2009.
He moved to Sarah Street on October 7 and police visited on October 24.
There were two adults and three children present.
