AN EX-army ambulance technician has started his own service to provide private medical cover at county events.
Ben Burrell, of Penrith, founded The Cumbria Aid Ambulance Service to offer patient transport, business training services, organ and tissue transportation and emergency first response to the Eden area.
The firm’s available staff include doctors, nurses, first aiders and paramedics.
This month the Cumbrian business will begin supplying Carlisle United Football Club with cover.
