A SERIAL pest caught naked on his ex-girlfriend’s bed has been jailed for 12 months.

Carla Jenkinson arrived home to find her sheets rumpled and a series of pictures on her mobile phone showing her ex-partner Leon Eccles in revealing poses, Burnley Crown Court heard.

A statement to the court said she was left ‘emotionally drained’ after seeing the images, taken during a two-day drinking binge involving her own brother Lewis.

During a period of three years, Eccles, 27, formerly of Spring Bank Terrace, Blackburn, repeatedly phoned and texted his former lover and the courts had even imposed a restraining order on him.

Prosecutor Emma Kehoe said Eccles had been out drinking with Miss Jenkinson’s brother Lewis and friends when they went to the Jenkinson family home last March.

Mr Jenkinson, who knew of his sister’s problems with Eccles, went to the kitchen to get something to eat, but quickly noticed that the others had left him.

He went to his sister’s room to find Eccles on the bed, almost naked, while another friend took photos.

Mr Jenkinson asked them to leave.

But Miss Jenkinson came home later to find the pictures on her mobile phone.

Eccles, now known as Leon Valentine, admitted breaching a restraining order.

He was jailed for 25 weeks plus 27 weeks for breaching a suspended sentence for harrassing Miss Jenkinson.

Sentencing, Judge Andrew Woolman, who also issued a new two-year restraining order, said: “This was more like the behaviour of a 16-year-old.”

Richard Hunt, defending, said Eccles was in a new relationship with another woman and was keen to show he had moved on.
