FIVE new properties on a street blighted by empty homes have been reported to enforcement officers.
Bosses at Hyndburn Council are now investigating the houses in Spring Street, Rishton, after reports were made by concerned residents and councillors.
Just last month renewed campaigns were launched to bring action against owners of a terrace of 11 homes in the street after they were described as the 'worst in East Lancashire'.
Hyndburn Council has made a 'repair or demolish' order on the properties.
