A TEENAGE boy was left unconscious and suffering a broken jaw after he was assaulted in Oswaldtwistle.
The 16-year-old boy was with friends on West End Park, when he was approached by another boy who punched him in the face.
He was taken to hospital but later released.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday last week, but police have only just released details.
