MORE than 50 people attended the annual Bacup Camera Club competition exhibition at St Mary’s Parish Rooms.
Fifteen members submitted entries for the competition, which is judged by an external expert.
Jim Doyle, chairman of the club, said: “It was a very well attended day, one of the best we have ever had, and there was a fairly equal split of prizes so it was really successful.
“The competition is keenly contested by members every year”
The prizes went to Chris McGinley, for the monochrome category, Stefan Pankow for the best colour print, Jim Doyle for the best image of Rossendale, Ann Schofield for the best slide, Peter Schofield for the best set of slides, Colin Hubbard for the best set of digitally projected images and Ken Brown for the best digital image, and the best new member monochrome and colour print.
